Dr Barison is a psychiatrist offering treatment to adults aged 17 to 70. Depending on the condition, he can offer patients short and longer term psychotherapy, as well as medication where indicated. Dr Barison places emphasis on reviewing nutrition, relationships, substance use, sleep patterns and exercise and how they contribute to overall mental health.

Admissions: Currently Dr Barison works on an outpatient basis. He has admitting rights to New Farm Clinic for day patient programs, where you might attend group psychotherapy treatment in the day at hospital but go back home at night. If a patient requires inpatient psychiatric admission, he can liaise with an appropriate hospital.
